I will keep the suspense going with the title of the book above. I am sure it caught your attention for at least a moment. I wish I would have come across this book a lot sooner in my life, but we don’t actually choose all the specific parts of the journey, but instead we just keep going trying to uncover what lies beneath each rock in our path.

I wanted to share a short passage I came across and thus allow you to interpret its meaning for yourself and how you would begin to focus on applying it to your own life:

Having eyes, but not seeing beauty; having ears, but not hearing music; having minds, but not perceiving truth; having hearts that are never moved and therefore never set on fire. These are things to fear, said the headmaster.

Take that today as you look to overcome your struggles. Allow it to set the tone for the week, month and year ahead. 2020 has been a whirlwind…perhaps that is an understatement. Perhaps now is the time to use those EYES, EARS, MINDS and HEARTS in the way they were always intended.
